Sebborheic Keratosis
Seborrheic keratoses (SK) are among the most common benign skin tumours seen in middle to old age. Its prevalence varies from 30% under the age of 30 years to 100% among persons older than 50 years. They present as dirty yellow to black verrucous plaques of varying size with a loosely adherent greasy keratin on the surface and a typical stuck-on appearance. Seborrheic keratoses are benign and typically asymptomatic and treatment is usually sought for cosmetic reasons only.
